Manufactured from a combination of urethane and bonded foams covered in heavy duty easy clean PVC covers which feature handles for easy handling.  Sportmat and Gymleader (GL) ranges are both similar in construction with the GL mats suiting general purpose uses and the Sportmat with slightly firmer foam grades suiting the more experienced gymnast.  Sizes listed generally match up with the most popular sizes in use at schools, clubs and recreation centres.
